Hull Serviced Apartments is celebrating achieving a major accolade, which means they will receive national and international recognition for the quality of their properties and the customer service they provide to their guests. Hull Serviced Apartments has been awarded the status of ‘Quality Accredited Operator’ by the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP). The Quality Accreditation Programme managed by ASAP is the leading global quality assessment, reporting, recognition and accreditation system for the serviced apartments, corporate housing and executive suites sectors of the hospitality industry. ASAP Quality Accreditation guarantees that successful members are compliant with all aspects of legal, health and safety requirements and good practice, as well as providing a measurement and comparison of quality and overall guest experience. As stated by ASAP themselves, the programme validates the guest experience objectively, informs clients and guests that their expectations will be met, and enables the guest to be able to “stay with confidence” anywhere which displays the ASAP marque and logo.
HSA Managing Director James Ledger said he was delighted by their newly attained status: “The ASAP accreditation is the universally accepted gold standard within the international accommodation industry, and we are the only active serviced apartment operator in this region to have achieved it, thus far. The HSA team has worked incredibly hard to make this happen. The vetting process is extremely rigorous, based around an analysis involving up to 250 separate criteria and checks, and also includes visits from assessors and ‘mystery guests’. Which is why many prestigious national and international accommodation and relocation agencies prefer to deal with companies who are ASAP accredited.” Expanding on why that as well as being a great achievement it was also important for the growth of HSA, he added: “Many of these larger agencies handle the accommodation and mobility requirements of companies and their staff across the entire globe, and have to be sure that they maintain an appropriate standard. When they are evaluating you as a potential provider, it is a much more straight forward conversation once they know you are ASAP approved.”
This comes at a good time for HSA whose 2019 is turning into an eventful one. The company, which recently moved its headquarters to its largest and most ambitious location to date, Endsleigh Park on Beverley High Road in Hull, is also preparing to launch its redevelopment of the historic Winding House on Victoria Dock and announced last month that they have also just acquired the former East Hull Baths.
